NY Chapter 3: Day One in NYC

"The Bus". We spent most of our time in NYC, on this Gray Line Sightseeing Bus, and let me tell you; They are the best way to get around the city and see everything! We loved it! Especially sitting at the top, you have a decent view of things. Most of my NYC photos were taken from the top of that bus.

This lady was one of our first bus tour guides. All of the tour guides are quite interesting, and have their own stories to tell about the city. Another MUST DO if you visit NYC. If you look closely, she has rubbed her lipstick all over her microphone.

As you can see from this photo with the traffic lights, riding on the double decker bus can be dangerous! The lights come so close to the top of your head. But the traffic lights aren't the only danger, trees and branches have been known to knock people out if they don't duck!

Oprah was at Madison Square Garden! She was right across the street from us during our first morning in NYC!

See our hotel? Hotel Pennsylvania, with all the flags...
